Nowdays we couldn’t imagine our life without the internet. Besides the countless possibiliteies it gives us, we should focus on making it a better place for us and mostly for the upgrowing generation. The day’s slogen summarises the way how we can make it true: "Create, connect and share respect: A better internet starts with you"

Our International Children’s Safety Service organised this event where experts, teachers, students and anyone who’s interested in it could meet and share previous experiences, give/get some advice and discuss our online world’s big questions.

We had a fabulous time together in a very modern and comfortable place that Microsoft office provided us for the day. As the previous year, there was an opportunity for students to think more about the importance of using the internet safely before this day. A short video and a novell writing competition in this theme was organised and it had a big success. A lot of students, team sent creative work that had been awarded this day.

After the awarding ceremony the audience had the opportunity to visit our ,,Live Library”. It was an interactive discuss center. Everybody could look around the tables and ask experts from different fields like cyber crime, psychology, media and communication. In addition students could talk with hackers and with the youth panel too. Márton Sós and I represented the SIP youth panel and after some game cheats from the previous stop we were waiting for the kids questions with an open mind. They were very curious about the always changing world. They'd like to know everything about the latest applications, the dangers and the risks of the internet and the secret of a safe account. The most popular theme was making new friends and keeping touch with them. Furthermore we talked about computer games and tried to figure out what the future will holds us.
